About Me
Hi, I’m Gracelyn Scott, a graphic designer based in Austin, Texas and currently pursuing a BFA in Design at The University of Texas at Austin. My work sits at the intersection of storytelling and tangible design, with a focus on illustration, branding, and printed media.
I have always been drawn to the visual details that make fictional worlds feel real. In films and books, small objects often carry part of the story themselves. Things like maps, journals, or creature guides help shape the world around the characters. These details sparked my interest in creating designs that feel like artifacts from a story rather than simply graphics on a page.
That fascination eventually led me to graphic design. Inspired by designers like MinaLima, I became interested in creating objects that bridge fictional worlds and the real one. Through illustration, print, and prop design, I aim to craft pieces that feel like artifacts from imagined worlds and allow audiences to experience stories in a tangible way.
